The Perfect Summer Blackberry Cocktail

Blackberry Rhubarb Bramble Cocktail

Blackberry Bramble Cocktails are a drink that brings me back to my childhood minus the alcohol. A perfect addition to your fourth of july spread, these are a great "blue-ish" drink that will keep your BBQ lively and fresh.

Growing up the neighborhood kids were outside every moment of the day, exploring and getting into trouble. We would run through the small forested area that separated the neighborhood from the college grounds next door. In these thickets were clumps of black raspberries, similar to blackberries but smaller and a little sweeter.

If you can’t tell the difference check out this article HERE.

I went straight for the blackberry muddle with this cocktail, something you don’t have to do, you can strain in a mesh strainer to create a juice if you would like instead. We did that HERE with raspberries. I was going for straight from the garden, with a “i don’t give a hoot” attitude ready for a summer drink on a hot afternoon kind of thing.
