Rhubarb Sparkling Cider

Rhubarb Sparkling Cider Cocktail with Art in the Age and Belvoir

Rhubarb is the best thing that exists in the spring, and I am enjoying every moment of the season in this sweet and tangy stalk in any way possible. When the season subsides however there is one way I love to get that rhubarb taste. RHUBARB by Art in the Age, is a very good alternative. The liqueur is sweet, and is a really nice alternative to St. Germain to give that springy bright flavor without overdoing the Elderflower trend. Of course here I have decided to go all out girly sugary drink, because sometimes the occasion is just right for a pink drink ;)

This drink perfect for when you want something on a hot afternoon with a bit of sugar. I used the raspberry juice from THIS POST, to get that perfectly yummy addition, but it's not required.

When choosing a cider go with something not too spicy, a 'plain' cider if you will. I chose pear for a change since I had consumed a good share of apple cider lately, but both are nice and tasty. Try this Rekorderlig brand for a sweet pear alternative to a crisp apple cider.
